Lars brings more than 35 years of senior leadership experience in intermodal logistics, private rail freight and international corridor development.
As former Managing Director of EUROGATE Intermodal, Lars was a pioneer of private rail freight in Germany and Europe. His achievements include organising Germany’s first private container block train, founding boxXpress.de, and establishing the first private block train connection from Hamburg/Bremerhaven to Budapest.
He has served on the boards of boxXpress.de, Container Terminal Dortmund and WienCont, and held senior roles with Rhenus Assets & Service and the Port of Duisburg, focusing on Southeast Europe and the Balkans.
Lars speaks German as his native language, is fluent in English, and has working knowledge of Spanish, Italian and Hungarian.
His appointment strengthens Vector’s expertise in intermodal transport, rail-linked port development and logistics corridor assessment.
